East Side Road Update; Bradbury River Bridge-work Notification

Many paddlers have already taken advantage of the new road along the east side of Lake Winnipeg to make the logistics of a trip on the Bloodvein simpler. As work continues to extend the road northwards, it looks like it may be possible to use the road to access the Pigeon River, and possibly the Berens River, next year. Both these rivers have, in the past, required either a boat shuttle out or a potentially scary paddle along the lake.
